Jewel says:

I think it's a sort of call to courage in love and in life and the longing to have people around you that, if you have a merciless desire to move forward in life it's hard to find people that have that same mercilessness. That are willing to look at themselves that honestly every day. It's like being a certain kind of soldier or something. It takes a lot of energy and constant focus, and it's rare to find that in people. It's a sort of longing to find that in a relationship.
(Interview Answers Atlantic promo-only cd PRCD-8939)

Notable performances: Muffathalle, Munich, Germany, 26th October 1997; also played a few times as part of the acoustic set on the 1999 Spirit tour
